💫 Current thoughts: Have you heard of the "trough of disillusionment"? It's a term coined by Gartner to describe the phase in the technology hype cycle when interest in a new technology diminishes following the initial excitement. According to Upwork's recent study, 77% of workers reported that the introduction of AI has actually increased their workload, far from the utopia many envisioned for AI. For me, it seems like we're entering the trough of disillusionment. Check out this week's blog post where I dive deeper into this topic. IMHO, education is the missing piece, a sentiment echoed by a recent study from the Marketing AI Institute.

Then there is ChatGPT getting into the search game. All I can think about is just how the heck will marketers do SEO in the future? I’ll save that pondering for another day.
