💫 Current thoughts: I read way too much about AI and all the hype around it. Lately, I’ve noticed a growing sentiment: adoption pushback. The first three articles I link to this week reflect this shift.

In my opinion, it’s because AI isn’t being rolled out in ways that actually work. It’s not “AI for AI’s sake” that we need—it should be a partner or collaborator to improve efficiency and productivity. But right now, that often translates to job loss.

The real opportunity? Boosting productivity for the people already doing the work. Unfortunately, many companies are still performing for Wall Street, playing the short game when a long-term approach would serve them far better.

The good news? I’m seeing smarter, more comprehensive leadership at some companies I work with—and they’ll be the ones who thrive. This is also where smaller businesses can outmaneuver enterprise giants. They’re not as beholden to Wall Street, which gives them a real edge. (/rant over)
