The thing I'm actually paying attention to: Anthropic announced a model so capable at finding security vulnerabilities they decided not to release it publicly. They call it Mythos. Seventy-three percent success rate on expert-level hacking tasks — a year ago no model could do these at all. The technical detail isn't what's interesting. What's interesting is that we now have AI capability arriving faster than the workflows to absorb it. That gap — between what AI can produce and what your team can actually act on — is the thing I'm watching across every client engagement right now. It shows up in marketing dashboards, security findings, content pipelines. Same pattern, different surface.

The thing I'm letting pass: Three new frontier models in eight days (Opus 4.7, GPT-5.5, DeepSeek V4). I'm not testing all three. The only question worth asking is "would this make my current setup obviously worse?" If yes, swap. If no, ignore.
